J&K Massacre: 30-Year-old woman killed, chopped body parts found in different locations in Budgam

Budgam/J&K: Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested a person in Soibugh area of ​​Budgam district while exposing a sensational blind murder case. The accused had killed the woman and cut the dead body into several pieces. The missing report was lodged 4 days before the deceased and three pieces of her body were thrown by the killer at different places. Jammu and Kashmir Police officials said that the Budgam Police has arrested Shabir Ahmad Wani, a resident of Mohanpura, in the case. Massive protests broke out after the police found chopped up body parts of a woman who went missing a week ago.

Shabir, 45, a carpenter by profession and married, killed a 30-year-old unmarried woman of Soibug in Mohanpora (Ompura), beheaded her and dismembered her body and threw it at different places. According to the Budgam police, on March 8, Police Post Soibugh received an application from Tanveer Ahmad Khan, stating that his sister had left for a coaching class on March 7, but did not return home. In this regard, investigation was started by filing a missing report.

Confessed crime on March 10

During the investigation of the case, the police detained several suspects, including one Shabbir Ahmad Wani s/o Abdul Aziz Wani r/o Mohandpora Budgam. After continuous questioning, on 10 March, the accused Shabbir Ahmed confessed to his crime. He further revealed that he cut the woman’s body into several pieces and buried them at different places to hide his crime. On his disclosure, the police have recovered the body parts.

Police recovered body parts

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he killed the woman, chopped her body into pieces and set up hideouts at various places like Railway Bridge Ompora and Sebden, from where her head and other body parts were recovered. Police recovered all the pieces of the dead body last night and handed it over to the relatives for the last rites. The relatives of the deceased alleged that Shabbir Ahmed wanted to marry the woman and his proposal was rejected by the relatives.
