Jammu and Kashmir: On Wednesday, an official said that one passenger killed and 22 others injured including 14 students after a bus overturned in Rajouri district Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the information, the accident happened near Radha Swami Ashram in Thandikassi village on the Rajouri-Jammu National Highway. Officials said that he said that the bus was going from Manjakote to Rajouri and hit two cars before overturning.
He added that the injured were taken to Government Medical College Hospital, Rajouri. After the incident, Police and nearby people reached the spot after coming to know about the accident and the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Students are also included in the injured.
Giving information about this incident, a senior police officer said that several people sustained serious injuries on the spot, out of which one died on the spot when a canter bus traveling from Manjakot to Rajori overturned under the Poonch-Rajori highway. Other injured have been shifted to GMC Rajori for treatment. A total of 35 people, including school children, were traveling in the Kantar mini bus.
