J&K: one police personnel died in grenade attack in Kulgam district

A day before Independence Day, a police personnel was killed in a grenade attack in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said. The name of this policeman has been told as Tahir Khan.

Jammu-Kashmir: A day before Independence Day, terrorists have attacked again in Jammu and Kashmir. This time the terrorists have targeted the policemen. Terrorists hurled grenades at a police team late Saturday night in Kamoh, Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. A policeman resident of Mendhar in Poonch district was injured in this attack. He was admitted to GMC Hospital in Anantnag, where he died during treatment. The name of this policeman has been told as Tahir Khan.

In the last few days, there has been an increase in the incidents of terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, the security forces had killed three terrorists in an encounter in the Waterhole area of ​​Budgam. In these, Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Latif Rather, who was involved in the murders of TV actor Amrin Bhat and clerk Rahul Bhat, was also killed. The security forces also recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition from them.

The police had informed that the security forces had received information about the hiding of terrorists in the Waterhole area. On this he launched a search operation. Meanwhile, the terrorists started firing. After this firing started from both the sides. Security forces had killed three terrorists in this long-lasting encounter.

Apart from this, terrorists have once again carried out the incident of target killing in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists recently targeted a migrant laborer in Bandipora. This laborer, who hails from Bihar, was shot dead by terrorists. This migrant laborer was a resident of Madhepura. His name was Mohammad Amrej. It was told that the terrorists had opened fire on him, in which he was injured. After this he was taken to a nearby hospital. where he died.

Earlier, terrorists tried to enter and attack an army camp located in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. During this, his attack was foiled by the soldiers giving him a befitting reply. 4 soldiers were martyred in this attack. Simultaneously, two terrorists were killed by the soldiers.
