Kabul Blast: Bomb blast in mosque near Ministry of Interior in Kabul, Afghanistan

Kabul: Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, has once again been shaken by the bomb blast. Surprisingly, this time the bomb blast happened exactly with the Ministry of Home Affairs. Home Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafai Takor said that there is a mosque just near the ministry and the blast took place there. He said that the investigation of the blast is going on.

These days, news of bomb blasts one after the other in Kabul is coming to the fore. On Monday itself, there was a massive blast in the Pul-e-Sukhta area on Shahid Majri Road in western Kabul. The blast took place at around 2 pm. Earlier on 30 September, 53 people were killed in the bombings. According to the United Nations (UN) report, out of 53 people killed in this blast, 46 were girls.

Just two weeks ago, there was a blast near a mosque in the Afghan capital Kabul, in which information about the death of 14 people was revealed. Earlier in the month, there was a blast in a mosque in Herat city of Afghanistan. In this blast 18 people including a prominent cleric were killed.

According to media reports, on the blast that took place in the mosque of Herat city, Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafai Taqor said that the blast happened when the worshipers were leaving the mosque. He said that common people were targeted in this blast.
