Kanjhawala case: Men who dragged Delhi woman for 13 km had borrowed car from a friend few hours ago

Delhi Woman Car Accident: According to the police, the scooty was in the name of a woman named Rekha, she had sold this scooty 5 years ago. During the investigation of Scooty, it was found that a nude dead body of a girl was found near Jonti village of Kanjhawala. There were 3 PCR calls regarding this. After reaching the spot, the police sent the dead body for postmortem.

New Delhi: The case of a girl riding a scooty being dragged for several kilometers in a car in Kanjhawala area of ​​Sultanpuri, Delhi has shaken the nation. The postmortem of the girl took place on Monday. At the same time, the court has sent all the five accused on police remand for 3 days.

Police say that a few hours before the incident with the girl, the accused had taken the car from a friend. According to the police, a timeline will be made on the basis of CCTV footage and digital evidence. For this, the accused will be brought to the crime spot. Based on the postmortem report, more sections will be added against the accused.

Police investigated the car number DLBCAY 6414. This car belonged to a person named Lokesh. The owner of the car Lokesh told the police that the car is with his brother-in-law Ashutosh who lives in Rohini. At the same time, when the police contacted Ashutosh, he told that his friends Deepak Khanna and Amit Khanna had taken the car at 7 pm on January 31. Left in an accidental condition on January 1 at around 05:00 am.

According to the police, Amit and Deepak had told Ashutosh that they had consumed alcohol. In Krishna Vihar, he pushed a girl riding a scooty. He was scared of this and ran towards Kanjhawala. Deepak told the police that he was driving the car. Manoj Mittal was sitting next to him. Whereas, the accused Mithun, Krishnan and Amit were on the back seat.

Deepak told the police that after pushing the girl riding the scooty, he did not look back and was driving the car fast out of fear. When he stopped the car at Jonty village on Kanjhawala road, the girl was seen trapped under the vehicle. They separated the girl from the car and fled leaving her there. Then parked the car at Ashutosh’s house and went to their respective homes.

At the same time, on Monday evening, Home Minister Amit Shah has directed the Delhi Police to submit a report regarding the matter immediately. The case is being investigated by Shalini Singh, a woman officer of Delhi Police. According to sources, the Ministry of Home Affairs has asked Shalini Singh to submit the report soon.
