Kanpur Dehat police serves notice to UP folk singer Neha Singh

Bihar: Bihar folk singer Neha Singh Rathore has been issued a notice by the Uttar Pradesh Police. This notice has been issued after the song "Maa-beti ki jal kar hui maut ke ke jal kar hui maut ke kaanpur dehat mein" was sung. This song was named Season-2.

Kanpur Dehat police serves notice to UP folk singer Neha Singh

Bihar: Bihar folk singer Neha Singh Rathore has been issued a notice by the Uttar Pradesh Police. This notice has been issued after the song “Maa-beti ki jal kar hui maut ke ke jal kar hui maut ke kaanpur dehat mein” was sung. This song was named Season-2. Police believe that Neha Rathore’s song is working to create hatred in the society. The police have asked for answers to 7 questions in the notice in 3 days. A warning of action has been issued for non-response within the time limit.

This notice has been issued by Akbarpur SHO of Kanpur Dehat district. This notice has been issued by Police Station Incharge Pramod Kumar under Section 160 CrPC. It is being told that the UP Police received this notice at Neha Singh Rathore’s house in Delhi on Tuesday (21 February 2023). During this, Neha Singh Rathore also shared a video of Uttar Pradesh policemen in front of her house. In the video, policemen are taking notice from Neha Rathore.

The first question asked to Neha by the Akbarpur police station is that in the video, ‘Wo Khud Hain Ya Koi Aur’. In the second question, the police have asked whether the video was uploaded by Neha Rathore on YouTube and Twitter by herself or by someone else.

In the third question, the police have asked whether Neha Rathore runs YouTube and Twitter in her own name or is operated by someone else. While in the fourth question, information has been sought whether the song sung by Neha Rathore was written by herself or by someone else.

In the 5th question of this notice, the police have asked Neha Rathore whether she has certified the song sung by her. While in the sixth question, the police have asked for information regarding the verification of the authenticity of the song ‘Ka Ba’ by Neha in case it was written by someone else.

In the seventh and final question, Kanpur Dehat Police has asked Neha Rathore whether she is aware of the impact of her song on the society or not. After this question, the police say that Neha’s song has created not only tension but also animosity in the society.

In this notice issued by SHO Akbarpur Pramod Kumar Shukla, it is also said to take action by registering an FIR against Neha under appropriate sections if she does not get a response within 3 days. Deputy SP Akbarpur of Kanpur Rural Police confirmed this notice and said that action will be taken as per the rules on receiving the reply to the notice.
