New Delhi: Kanye West posted on Twitter on Sunday, saying, “Testing, Testing,” suggesting that he may have returned. “I’m seeing if my Twitter is unblocked.”
Users responded differently to Kanye West’s most recent tweet; some were happy to see him back, while others said, “Oh no.” On October 9, the rapper’s account was blocked after he threatened to “kill con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” Earlier last month, after Elon Musk successfully acquired Twitter, it was reactivated.
However, after being reinstated, Kanye West tweeted on November 3 that he would “not be communicating to anyone for a month” and shared an image with the caption, “I’m taking a 30 day cleanse. A verbal fast. No alcohol. No adult movies. No sex. We give God thanks. Amen.”
Earlier, it was said that Kanye West was in talks to buy the alternative messaging platform Parler, which calls itself an impartial platform.
Elon Musk also went ahead and permitted several other previously-banned accounts to come back online, including that of former president Donald Trump, and he indicated that his decision to bring back Donald Trump’s account, which was blocked following the January 6 insurrection, was driven by a Twitter poll.
Previously, Elon Musk suggested Twitter would form a content moderation council with “diverse viewpoints.”
