Bengaluru: A student studying in a fourth class in a Karnataka school died after being beaten up by a teacher. According to the police, the teacher first beat up the 10-year-old student badly, hit him with a shovel and then pushed him off the balcony of the first floor of the school. The child was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, where he died during treatment. The police have registered a case against the accused teacher on the complaint of the child’s family. At present, the accused teacher is absconding.

Shivprakash Devaraju, a senior police officer of Gadak district, told the media, “The case pertains to Adarsh ​​Primary School in Hagli village in the northern part of the state. It is alleged that Muthappa, a contract teacher in the school, first injured Class IV student Bharat with a shovel. Then threw him from the balcony.

According to the police, the accused teacher had also beaten up the mother of student Bharat, who is also a teacher in the school. He is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital. According to the police, the reason for the beating could be a family dispute. At present, the police is looking for the accused teacher.

Earlier, such a case had also come to the fore in Delhi. A Class V girl student of a Delhi Municipal Corporation school was allegedly attacked with scissors by a teacher and then thrown from the first floor of the school building, causing her to break a bone in her face.

According to the police, the teacher barricaded herself inside a classroom with the students and “violently” threw water bottles at the student until she was overpowered. After this he cut the girl’s hair and threw her from the balcony. The accused teacher has been sent to judicial custody till 20 December on Saturday.
