Karnataka CM considers Buddha, Basava, Valmiki, and Ambedkar to be ideals

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is being influenced by the teachings of Buddha, Basava, Valmiki, and BR Ambedkar, on Friday, the CM said that the state government has been taking decisions about their lives and personalities.

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is being influenced by the teachings of Buddha, Basava, Valmiki, and BR Ambedkar. On Friday, the CM said that the state government has been taking decisions about their lives and personalities.

Speaking after inaugurating Buddha, Ambedkar Mantap, and laying the foundation stone for Dr BR Ambedkar Museum at Nagasena University here on Friday, he said all of them are everlasting since they sacrificed their lives. The CM has promised to release needed funds for the Nagasena Varsity.

The state government has taken a decision to set up 100 Ambedkar Hostels under the government’s SC/TSP scheme. Rural students will find it easier to get housing on campus this way.

Meanwhile, work on the Dr Ambedkar Museum has begun in ten locations with the goal of educating people about Ambedkar’s life and achievements.

Ambedkar spread knowledge and awareness and tried to bring equality into society. He wrote the Constitution of India, which is essential for peace and harmony in society. “Thanks to the strong Constitution, none can shake them,” Bommai said.

The CM further added, “Maharshi Valmiki has been the icon of change. He changed his previous lifestyle to become a Maharshi. The Valmiki Ramayan has clearly explained the concept of Nyaya, Neethi, and Dharma.

Union Minister Ramdas Athavale, Nagasena University Chairman Dr M Venkataswamy, and others were also present on the occasion.
