Karnataka Elections 2023: After releasing the first list, AAP has now released the second list

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has also released its second list of candidates for the Karnataka Assembly elections on Friday. AAP has given assembly tickets to 60 candidates in the second list. The party will contest on all the seats.

Karnataka Elections 2023: The dates for the Karnataka assembly elections have been announced. Elections are to be held on a total of 224 seats in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. According to the Election Commission, elections will be held in Karnataka in a single phase. AAP has also released its list of 60 candidates for the 224-seat assembly on Friday (March 32).

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released the second list of 60 candidates for the upcoming Karnataka Elections 2023. Earlier on March 20, the party had released the first list of 80 candidates. AAP has decided to field candidates in all the 224 assembly constituencies in the state. Assembly elections are due in Karnataka by May. According to the list of candidates, Supreme Court lawyer Brijesh Kalappa will contest from Chickpet. Former Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) official K Mathai (Shanthi Nagar), B.T. Naganna (Rajajinagar), Mohan Dasari (C V Raman Nagar), Shantala Damle (from Mahalaxmi Layout) and Ajay Gowda will contest from Padmanabhanagar.

Now after the release of the list of 60 new candidates, the total number of candidates has increased to 140. The party has decided to field candidates on all the 224 assembly seats in the state.

On March 20, the Aam Aadmi Party released its first list for the 224 assembly seats in Karnataka. AAP had given assembly tickets to 80 candidates in the first list. The party held a press conference after releasing the first list.

In this southern state, the contest has become interesting with AAP contesting elections along with BJP, Congress and JDS.
