The Delhi government has sent a proposal for the name of Anil Kumar Singh to the Lieutenant Governor. His name has been sent for approval as Secretary, Delhi Services Department.

The Delhi government has swung into action after getting power from the Supreme Court. Kejriwal has sent a proposal to replace the secretary of another department to the LG. It is reported that the Delhi government has sent a proposal to LG VK Saxena to replace service secretary Ashish More and appoint AK Singh. In this, citing the Supreme Court, it has been said that the Lieutenant Governor is bound to accept the advice of the elected government.

A proposal has been sent to the Central Government to remove the Chief Secretary of Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sought consent from the Center through the Lieutenant Governor. The Delhi government wants to replace Naresh Kumar with PK Gupta as chief secretary. For which the Delhi government has sent a proposal to the Centre. Please tell that PK Gupta is an IAS officer of 1989 batch and is currently ACS (GAD).

The new service secretary will be A.K. Lion

Now senior IAS officer A.K. Singh will be the new Secretary of Services Department of Delhi, replacing Ashish More. The Delhi official told that A.K. Singh will be the new Services Secretary. Officials said the issue was discussed in the Services Selection Board (CSB) meeting held on Wednesday. In the meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary P.K. Gupta and Services Secretary More also attended.

The Supreme Court had given power to the Delhi government

Earlier, the Supreme Court, while giving a unanimous verdict, had said that the Delhi government has legislative and administrative control in respect of services other than public order, police and land. After this decision of the court, the Delhi government is constantly making major changes in the bureaucracy. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had moved the Supreme Court alleging that the Center was not implementing its decision to transfer Services Secretary Ashish More.
