A day before the campaigning for the November 3 bypolls comes to an end, Kejriwal was scheduled to go for a roadshow in Adampur on Monday. In light of the Gujarat bridge collapse, the party’s Rajya Sabha MP, Sushil Gupta, who is also the party’s Haryana affairs incharge, said that Arvindji’s road show has been cancelled.

The bypoll has been taking place in Adampur after Kuldeep Bishnoi, the younger son of former chief minister Bhajan Lal, resigned as the Congress MLA and joined the BJP in August.

Kejriwal launched the party’s nationwide ‘Make India No. 1’ campaign from Hisar last month.

Meanwhile, the death toll in the Morbi suspension bridge collapse crossed 130 on Monday. A rescue operation is going on war footing. The tragic incident took place  around 6.30 pm on Sunday.
