Two people injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital. The police, who reached the spot, are probing the cause of the incident and gathering information about the relatives of the deceased.
According to the Kerala Police, at least eight people lost their lives in the accident. Most of the dead are women.
According to the information, the accident happened when a jeep was carrying workers from a plantation. At the time of the accident, there were a total of 11 people including the driver in the jeep.
