Kottayam: Police said that Popular Malayalam actor Vinod Thomas was found dead inside a parked car at a hotel near Pampady in Kerala on Saturday. The police said that the hotel management informed them that a person was lying in a car parked in its premises. The police took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

After receiving information about this incident,police reached on the spot. Police officers found Vinod inside his car. When the gate of the car did not open despite sounding, the side glass of his car was broken. After this, he was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state, but by then he was dead. However, the reason behind the death of Vinod Thomas has not come.
According to media reports, the police said that this can be confirmed only after the post-mortem. An official statement has not yet been issued by the police authorities regarding the post-mortem of Vinod Thomas. “We found him inside the car and took him to a nearby hospital. Doctors examined him and declared him dead,” police said and added that the body has been sent for postmortem.
