South superstar Vijay Deverakonda is busy in promoting his film Liger. #Boycott Liger is trending on Twitter since this morning, in response to which the actor has now shares a cryptic post on Twitter, says you will definitely rock on Aug 25.

Hyderabad: Liger superstar Vijay Deverakonda is very busy in promotions these days. Meanwhile #Boycott Liger is trending. Viewers on Twitter demanding to boycott Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger. The actor replied on the boycott through social media. Apart from Lal Singh Chaddha, after Pathan, Tiger 3, Vikram Vedha, the name of Liger has also been included in this list. Ever since Vijay has supported Aamir Khan’s film Laal Singh Chaddha, users have been demanding to boycott his film on social media.

Vijay Deverakonda is very active on social media. The actor recently made a post on his Twitter. Vijay has written this post in Telugu language. If we translate this post of the actor, it means, ‘If we are right, if we are doing our religion, then we do not need to listen to anyone else. Come let’s fight’. This post of Vijay is being linked to the Boycott Liger trend.

During promotions Vijay Deverakonda said: “I have been touring one city per day for the last twenty days. I am out of energy and my health is not cooperating. But I still wanted to come here because of your love, Guntur. Mental is the word that came to mind when I listened to this script and while shooting for the film. Liger promotions are my life-time memories. Liger will be my first step to make many such memories for you. I guarantee you… the movie will rock. You should do one thing for me…You should shake Guntur on 25th. August 25th, Waat Laga Denge”.

Vijay Deverakonda talks about the boycott trend of Lal Singh Chaddha during the promotion of his film Liger. Aamir Khan’s film is a Hindi remake of Hollywood’s Oscar winning film Forrest Gump. The film did not perform well at the box office. The actor said, I think apart from the actor on a film set, many important people work with the director, actress.

200 to 300 artists work in a film and they have staff members. Many other actors are also associated with Aamir Khan sir. He further said- If you boycott the film, then not only Aamir Khan is affecting thousands of families with him.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film stars Vijay as an underdog fighter from Mumbai, who competes in an MMA championship. The sports drama also stars Ramya Krishnan. Produced by Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur through their banner Puri Connects and Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta via Dharma Productions, Liger will be released in theatres on August 25 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
