Messi has picked two teams as the favourites to lift the coveted trophy; the defending champion, France, and the other side, Brazil. He feels that, currently, France and Brazil are the two best teams in the business. In fact, uncertainty always looms in every sport, so anything could happen in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 35-year-old Argentine legend feels that France, despite being eliminated early in the Euros due to some pathetic football, has several impressive players who are capable of turning the table and defending the title. Argentina has some injury issues as key players like Paulo Dybala and Angel Di Maria are on the injured list.

Lionel Scaloni, the Argentina coah described club football’s fixture congestion in October as “terrible” but urged his players not to hold back to avoid the risk of injury ahead of the World Cup.
