Lucknow: On Friday, Samajwadi Party has released another list of its candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In which state president Naresh Uttam Patel has been nominated from Fatehpur and Bhagat Ram Mishra from Kaiserganj. Samajwadi Party is contesting the elections in alliance with the Congress-led India Alliance.
Let us tell you that recently it was announced by SP that Naresh Uttam Patel will contest elections from Fatehpur. Earlier, BJP and BSP have announced their candidates on this seat. Naresh will file nomination today. There is a possibility of a close contest between BJP and SP on Fatehpur Lok Sabha seat. BJP has given ticket to Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti for the third time from Fatehpur Lok Sabha seat.
Nominations for Fatehpur seat started on 26 April. The last date for nomination is 3 May. Voting for this seat will be held on 20 May in the fifth phase. In the fifth phase, voting will take place in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Jhansi, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Banda, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Barabanki, Faizabad, Kaiserganj and Gonda.
