Court extends judicial custody till May 12 in CBI case

Earlier on Thursday, the Rouse Avenue Court had extended Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody till May 12 in the Excise Policy case being probed by the CBI. Special Judge MK Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court directed the CBI to provide an e-copy of the supplementary charge sheet to Sisodia. Sisodia’s lawyer urged the court to grant default bail to his client, claiming that the CBI had filed an incomplete investigation in the case.

CBI has filed supplementary charge sheet on 25 April

At the same time, during the hearing in the court, Manish Sisodia’s lawyer said that the CBI should tell whether the investigation has been completed or not? Then when the court asked this question to the CBI lawyer, he told that the investigation has been completed. Explain that on April 25, the CBI had filed a supplementary charge sheet in the Rouse Avenue Court, in which Manish Sisodia was named as an accused. The court will now next hear the matter on May 12.
