A tragic incident unfolded in Rasulha village, located under the jurisdiction of Patti police station in Pratapgarh district, as an LPG cylinder blast resulted in injuries to six individuals and the destruction of four houses. The mishap occurred on Thursday, causing significant damage before fire tenders could extinguish the flames.

LPG Cylinder Blast in Pratapgarh. The injured victims were promptly admitted to the nearby Community Health Center (CHC) for medical treatment.

Reports indicate that the thatched houses belonging to Kamlesh Bind, Chandrabhan, Ram Abhilash, and Rajbhan were situated adjacent to each other. The incident transpired around 4:30 pm when a fire erupted in Kamlesh Bind’s house while cooking food on firewood. Despite efforts from family members and villagers, the fire rapidly spread to Chandrabhan’s house, where an LPG cylinder explosion occurred. This resulted in burn injuries to Rajbhan (36), Asarfilal (45), Amritlal (42), Dhruv (38), Chanchal (40), and Mohit (20).

The fire further engulfed the neighboring houses of Ramabhilash and Rajbhan before fire tenders arrived at the scene to contain the blaze. However, by that time, the inferno had already caused extensive damage, gutting the four houses along with their belongings.
