New Delhi: The oil marketing companies on Thursday once again hiked the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) domestic gas cylinder by ₹25 per cylinder making a 14.2-kg LPG cylinder to now cost ₹794 in the national capital. The fresh hike in LPG gas cylinders comes for the third time this month.
Earlier, the cost was increased by ₹50 (costed: Rs 769) on February 15 and before that on February 4 by ₹25 (costed: Rs 719).
In India, the state run oil companies are authorised to determine the price of LPG gas cylinder which is revised on a monthly basis and is highly affected by the international fuels rates.
The cost of the LPG can fluctuate depending upon the changes in US Dollar-Indian Rupee exchange rate.
