New Delhi: On the first day of the month, there has been a big drop in the price of LPG Gas Cylinder. On the other hand, the rates of petrol and diesel have remained stable for more than three months. This has brought great relief to the common man. This time the rate of LPG cylinder has come down by Rs 91.50.

From 1 September, According to the prices released by Indian Oil, the 19 kg commercial cylinder (LPG Commercial Cylinder Price) in the capital Delhi became cheaper by Rs 91.50. From today, Rs 1885 will have to be paid for the cylinder. Earlier this cylinder was Rs 1976.50.

The price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 1885 instead of 1976.50 from 1 September. At the same time, now the prices in Kolkata have come down to Rs 1995.5. In Mumbai Rs 1844 instead of 1936.50 and Rs 2045 instead of 2141 in Chennai. 14.2 kg gas cylinder is getting Rs 1053 in Delhi.

The price of commercial gas cylinders has seen a fall for the fifth time in a row. The gas cylinder, which reached the record price of Rs 2354 on 19 May 2022, was priced at Rs 2219 on 1 June. After a month, the price of the cylinder was reduced by Rs 98 and it became Rs 2021. On July 6, the oil companies reduced the price of this cylinder to Rs.2012.50. From 1st August, this cylinder started getting Rs 1976.50. Now on September 1, 1885 it became Rs. Due to the continuous fall in the price, the common man has got relief on the inflation front.

In order to give relief to the people from inflation, the government had announced a subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder under the Ujjwala scheme. This subsidy will be available only up to 12 cylinders annually. More than 9 crore consumers have benefited from this move of the government.
