LSG to face PBKS in tonight’s encounter; KKR face 5th consecutive defeat

In the end, Delhi Capitals proved too hot for Kolkata Knight Riders and achieved the target of 150 with ease in the 19th over. Yesterday’s victory will give them a shot in the arm to go forward and make it to the playoffs. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav was the wrecker in chief in that match, taking four wickets in three overs while conceding a paltry 14 runs. He was adjudged the player of the match.

LSG ready to face PBKS

Punjab Kings have shown lukewarm consistency with 8 points in the same number of matches. Both teams are desperate to win tonight’s encounter to reach the playoffs stage.

The batting of Punjab Kings is on track in the previous match when they conquered Chennai Super Kings. Shikhar Dhawan played a sublime innings, scoring a match-winning 88 runs in that match. Rajapaksa also chipped in with a valuable 42 runs.

Not easy to stop Rahul

Lucknow Super Giants, who have been occupying fourth place, outclassed the Mumbai Indians in their previous match. Batting first, KL Rahul’s masterful 103 off 62 balls helped LSG pile up 168 for 6 in 20 overs, winning the match by 36 runs in the end.

The batting of LSG is the mainstay as Rahul has already amassed 368 runs in its kitty, just behind leader Jos Buttler’s remarkable tally of 409 runs. The depth of LSG’s batting has made the side incredible.

Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Jason Holder all contribute significantly with the bat and the ball. They are capable of changing the match in any situation.
