Lucknow Gears Up for Epic Cricket Showdown: India vs NZ Semi-Final Fever Takes Over Hotels, Restaurants, and Schools

In anticipation of the highly awaited Cricket World Cup semi-finals between India and New Zealand in Mumbai, Lucknow is buzzing with excitement. Hotels, restaurants, and schools are all set to offer an unforgettable experience for cricket enthusiasts eagerly anticipating this high-stakes clash.

Sarvesh Goel, the founder of Centrum Hotel, shared the heightened enthusiasm surrounding the ICC Cricket World Cup semi-finals. “Our in-house luxury bar, The Pendulum, is gearing up to host a live match screening for true-blue cricket fans in Lucknow. The ambiance, adorned with the World Cup theme, guarantees an on-ground experience with creatively crafted food and beverage offerings inspired by cricket, featuring dishes like Cover Drive, Free Hit, Super Over, and more,” he stated.

Joining the celebration, Metropolitan restaurant in Gomti Nagar plans to screen the match on a large LED TV. Srajal Gupta, representing the establishment, expressed the desire for Lucknowites to enjoy the cricket match along with a sumptuous meal in the company of family and friends.

Lucknow’s schools are equally enthusiastic about this cricket extravaganza. Students eagerly await the showdown between Rohit Sharma-led Team India and the Black Caps, recalling the heartbreak from the 2019 semi-finals. St Joseph School has taken an extra step by installing a big screen for students to immerse themselves in the cricketing excitement.

Anil Agarwal, managing director of St Joseph School, emphasized the significance of such events in fostering unique bonds among students. “Occasions like this help in developing a unique bond among students who cheer for Team India together under one roof. In the past, we’ve screened significant events in our school, such as the launch of Chandrayaan and its moon landing. Our students enjoy watching these momentous occasions together,” he highlighted.
