Though cases have dropped, post-covid complications, particularly black fungus infection, have emerged as a big challenge. People who have recovered need to be vigilant about their conditions and consult a doctor immediately if they feel anything unusual.
The infection, however, claimed the lives of five patients in the past 24 hours, taking the second wave toll to 1,352. Over 1.55 lakh people were infected, of whom over 1.53 lakh recovered.
