Ludhiana: A 3-year-old girl killed after a glass door of a garment showroom fell on her in Ludhiana of Punjab. The entire incident was captured on camera and the video is doing rounds on social media.
In the video, showed that the girl, who was abandoned by her parents, was playing near the mirror and died when the glass door fell on her. According to reports, onlookers said that the minor girl was swinging around the door and was holding the door handle and the entire structure fell on her, causing serious injuries.
The girl succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead by doctors when taken to a nearby hospital. It can be seen in the video that the girl, who had come to the showroom with her parents, was playing alone with the big glass door installed at the entrance of the showroom.
The girl is seen hanging around the door and also pulling the door handle after which the door suddenly falls on her and the girl gets trapped under it. Her parents and other people present inside the showroom approached the girl and lifted the heavy glass door and removed it from underneath. They took the girl to a nearby hospital as she was seriously injured when the door fell on her.
On reaching the hospital, doctors declared the girl dead. Whenever parents leave their children unattended for shopping or any other work, they leave them unattended. Children suffer serious harm to themselves when left alone and they also become easy prey for criminals who target these children.
