Relatives allege that he was murdered because of his second wife, as she did not want to keep him with her. Angered by this, she went to her maternal home. According to the police, the body of seven-year-old Prateek’s son Shashipal Munde, resident of Shankar Mohalla, was found in the room, whose post-mortem has been conducted. Accused father Shashipal Munde is still absconding. The child’s maternal uncle told that Prateek’s mother Anju had died about five years ago.
After this, father Shashipal had remarried about a year and a half ago. Since marriage, step mother Payal was troubling Prateek. She didn’t want to be with him.
Elder father Rajesh told that on Sunday night Prateek went to the upstairs room after asking his grandmother to sleep with his father. When the mother reached to pick her up in the morning, the door of the room was locked from outside. When he went inside, Prateek was lying in a bloody condition.
After this other people were also informed about this. Prateek is killed by father Shashipal. Shashipal’s wife has now gone to her maternal home, Nandanpura (Shajapur). She was telling Shashipal on the phone not to live with Prateek. She was not even coming back home for this reason.
Relatives told that father Shashipal has also made a video of the fight with the child. Probably he would have made this video to send it to his wife. Police found this video in his mobile.

There was a mild dispute between the maternal uncle and father of the deceased in the hospital. The people of the maternal uncle’s side kept saying that you knew then why did you leave Prateek alone with your father. If you had told us, we would have taken him away. When the dispute started increasing, the police intervened and handled the situation.
In Azad Nagar police station area, two sons attacked the step mother with a sword and seriously injured her and ran away. Police registered a case of attempt to murder against both the accused in the case.
