Sehore: A two and a half year old girl child falls into a borewell in village Mungavali in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. After getting information about this incident, the administration swung into action and a rescue team was dispatched to Mungaoli village. According to information, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl fell into a borewell in Mungavali village under Mandi police station area of ​​Sehore. It has been more than 12 hours but the movement is not clearly visible. Search for the child continues.

“We are making all possible efforts to pull the child out. A trench is being dug on the side (of the borewell). Since it has been more than 12 hours, movement (of the child) is not clearly visible from here,” says Ashish Tiwari, Sehore Panchayat official.

This borewell is said to be about 300 feet deep and the girl is trapped at a depth of about 20 feet. Efforts are being made to save the girl child. Rescue operation is being carried out with the help of JCB on the spot.

According to information, Srishti Kushwaha, daughter of Rahul Kushwaha, fell into the borewell. Youth Congress state secretary Rajeev Gujrati told that a two and a half year old girl fell into a borewell in his village Mungavali.

Regarding the incident of the girl falling into the borewell, Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi has said that after getting the information, a rescue team has been sent to the spot and he himself is reaching the spot.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan took cognizance
Taking cognizance of the incident, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who hails from Sehore district, has asked the officials to ensure the safe evacuation of the girl child. The officials of the Chief Minister’s Office are also in touch with the officials of the district administration.

It is noteworthy that Sehore district administration had also launched a campaign in view of the incidents of children falling into borewells in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, it was clearly told to the owners of open borewells that open borewells should not be found. Despite this, such an incident has come to the fore.
