Mumbai: Three people died on the spot in a horrific road accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Friday morning. It is being told that a speeding car rammed into the truck from behind which led to the horrific accident. The car was going from Mumbai to Pune and the accident happened near Urse toll naka.

It is being told that a speeding car rammed into the truck from behind which led to the horrific accident. The car was going from Mumbai to Pune and the accident happened near Urse toll naka. Half of the car came under the truck in the accident. Due to which three people in the car died on the spot.
The car has been badly damaged. The accident took place near Urse village at around 7.45 am. It has been told that due to some fault in the truck, it was parked on the roadside. At the same time a speeding car hit this truck and it became a terrible accident. Preliminary guess is that the driver of the speeding car lost control. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Vishwanath Khair resident of Satara and the identity of the other two persons is being ascertained.
Meanwhile, the police have taken the dead bodies of all three and sent them for postmortem. After the accident, there was a long queue of vehicles on the highway. According to the information received, when this car was going from Mumbai to Pune, a truck full of coal was standing on the highway. This truck was hit hard from behind by the speeding car and in this horrific accident, two people including the driver died on the spot.
