Mumbai: The cases of corona rising again in Maharashtra have raised concern once again. In Mumbai alone, more than 2 thousand Covid infected cases have been found on Saturday. At the same time, 2 people have also died due to this. On Saturday, 2054 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Mumbai. Due to which the total number of Covid cases in the city has reached 10,92,557. At the same time, after the death of two people, the total death toll has increased to 19,582.

At the same time, 2,255 new corona virus infections were reported in India’s financial capital Mumbai on Friday.

An official of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said that so far 10,59,362 people have been discharged after recovery, of which Saturday’s number is 1,743.

The two deaths that took place on Saturday were a 90-year-old man, who also had high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus. Another 54-year-old man also had high blood pressure and chronic kidney disease.

Out of 2,054 new cases, only 104 patients have been hospitalised. At present, out of the beds earmarked for COVID-19 treatment in the city, only 587 patients are being treated.

Civic data has shown that the recovery rate is 97 percent. At the same time, the growth rate of cases between June 11 and 17 was 0.174 percent, while the cases have doubled in 389 days.

According to BMC data, 14,345 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of corona virus tests done in Mumbai has gone up to 1,73,72,791.
