Mumbai: In Palghar, adjacent to Mumbai, a lover escaped after killing his girlfriend by hiding her body inside the bed. On receiving the information, the police arrested the accused Hardik, who was absconding from the train. This heart-wrenching incident is being reported from Tulinj area of Palghar, adjacent to Mumbai. Where both were living in a live-in relationship in the same house.
According to the police, Hardik was unemployed. According to the information, the expenses of the house used to run from Megha’s earnings. There used to be frequent quarrels between Megha and Hardik, a nurse by profession. In this quarrel, one day Hardik killed Megha and hide her body inside the bed. After which he sold some household items and fled but was arrested by the railway police.
A crime branch team is on its way to take custody of the accused, said police.
Hardik and Megha, who were in a relationship for three years, were living together for the past six months. They had moved to the rented house nearly a month ago.
Their neighbours too complained about their frequent quarrels, police added.
