Major accident in Maharashtra: Over 50 sustained to injuries after 3 bogies of a train derailed in Gondia

According to the information received from the railways, this accident happened due to the arrival of two trains on the same track. More than 50 passengers have been injured in this accident.

Mumbai: In yet another heart wrenching incident that has to be seen in Maharashtra where 3 coaches of the train derailed in Gondia. More than 50 passengers have been injured in this accident. According to the information received so far, this accident happened at around 2.30 pm.

It is being said that the goods train collided with the passenger train. This accident happened due to non-receipt of signal. As of now no death has been reported. The train was going from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh to Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

According to the information, due to signal problem, both the trains had come on the same track. On receiving the signal, the Kothi passenger train of Bilaspur-Bhagat overtook. At the same time, the goods train was going towards Nagpur on this track. When the railway signal was not received, the passenger train hit the goods train near Gondia Gate. It is being told that a total of 53 passengers have been injured in this train accident, out of which 13 have suffered minor injuries.
