Trivandrum: In a sudden turn of events, Renowned Malayalam film and TV serial actress 35-year-old Renjusha Menon was on Monday reportedly found dead hanging in her rented apartment in Thiruvananthapuram. She is primarily known for her supporting roles in several television shows and movies. Sreekaryam Police have started a probe into the death.
Some of her notable roles include Sthree’, ‘Nizhalattam’, ‘Magalude Amma’ and ‘Balamani’ to name a few. The actress had also done films like Athbhutha Dweepu, Lisammayude Veedu, Karyasthan, City of God, Marykkundoru Kunjaadu. As per a report by Manorama, Renjusha was facing financial problems at the time of her death. Besides acting, Renjusha was also an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer. She is survived by her father C G Ravindranath and mother Umadevi.
The family gets doubtful as her room was locked for a long period of time on Monday morning. Later when the door was forced open she was found hanging.
Preparations are being made for investigation and later the body will be taken for post-mortem. Further probe into the matter is underway.
