New Delhi: Malfunctioning SpiceJet flight going from Delhi to Dubai makes emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan. According to the latest information, the plane has been landed in Karachi after a technical fault. It is being told that there was no such defect in the plane that the passengers came to know but this defect could not be ignored. Due to this there was a scope of damage, in view of which the emergency landing of the aircraft has taken place.
According to information received from DGCA, 150 passengers were on board the plane. The crew noticed an unusual decrease in the amount of fuel from the left tank. The aircraft was landed in Karachi with the help of ATC. During the post-flight inspection, no leak was noticed from the left tank, he said.
An airline spokesperson said, “Flight SG-11 (Delhi-Dubai) of SpiceJet’s B737 aircraft was diverted towards Karachi on 5 July 2022 due to a fault in the indicator light. The aircraft landed safely in Karachi and the passengers were evacuated. Evacuated safely. No emergency was declared during this and the plane made a normal landing. There were no reports of pre-flight malfunction. An alternate flight is being diverted to Karachi and passengers will be sent to Dubai . ”
A SpiceJet spokesperson said that no emergency was declared and the plane made a normal landing. There were no earlier reports of any malfunction with the aircraft. Refreshments have been provided to the passengers. At the same time, an aircraft is being sent to Karachi which will take the passengers to Dubai.
