Kolkata: Opposition parties are running from pillar to post to get on one platform and fight the next general elections together, scheduled to be held in 2024. They want to form a government in the Centre in place of the BJP, which is a herculean task.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has declared that she, Nitish Kumar, Hemant Soren, and other leaders will fight in the 2024 general elections together, aiming to combat the BJP.
We will unite. It is just like a battleground. We are all there with Nitish, Akhilesh, and Hemant. “We’ve been at war for 34 years,” she declared.
She referred to the political crisis in Jharkhand by saying, “They were selling off Jharkhand. We detained MLAs while saving Jharkhand.
The West Bengal Chief Minister hit out at the media for highlighting differences within political parties.
They occasionally point out how Abhishek and I have differences. She claimed that TRP wouldn’t increase in this manner.
Speaking to TMC leader Anubrata Mondal’s arrest by the CBI regarding the alleged cattle smuggling case, she said, “You think you will win two seats in Birbhum by doing this? The leaders of Birbhum will fight manifold till Anubrata gets out. Anubrata Mandal will come out of the jail like a braveheart. “
Without taking the name of any party, Mamata said they think that if they detain noted leaders, then party workers will be frightened and demoralised, she added.
