Imphal: A school bus met with a horrific accident on Wednesday in Noney district of Manipur. In this accident, 7 students of Thambalanu Higher Secondary School have died while more than 40 students have been injured. Is. According to preliminary information, two buses carrying students of Thambalanu Higher Secondary School, Yaripok, were going to Khaupum on an education tour when the accident took place.
According to the information received, the accident took place on the Bishnupur-Khaupum road near Longsai Tubung village. The injured students are being treated at Medicity Hospital in Imphal. According to sources, Rs 5 lakh compensation will be given to the families of the students killed in the accident. Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has announced that all possible help will be provided to the victims of the accident. Also, the families of the students will be given compensation amount from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
