Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi says G20 presidency is a big opportunity for India, proud moment for us

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen today in the 95th edition of his monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat'. PM Modi said that Mann Ki Baat is moving towards completing a century. This program is another medium for me to connect with 130 crore countrymen. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, people from across the country have written to me how proud they are that India has got the chairmanship of the G20. India has got this responsibility under Amrit Kaal.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen today of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. PM Modi said that Mann Ki Baat is moving towards completing a century. This program is another medium for me to connect with 130 crore countrymen.

PM modi said that before every episode of this program, it is a kind of spiritual experience for me to read the letters sent by the people of the country and listen to their suggestions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, people from across the country have written to me how proud they are that India has got the chairmanship of the G20. India has got this responsibility under Amrit Kaal.

The PM said, the G-20 has two-thirds of the world’s population, three-fourths of global trade and 85% of the world GDP. You can imagine that after three days from now i.e. from December 1, India is going to preside over such a big group, such a powerful group. The presidency of G-20 has come as a big opportunity for us. We have to focus on world welfare by making full use of this opportunity.

Prime Minister Modi said, the chairmanship of G-20 is an opportunity for us. We have to focus on the global good. Be it peace, unity or sustainable development, India has solutions to the challenges related to these things. We have given the theme of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. This shows our commitment to Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

PM Modi said that a few days ago, a weaver brother Yeldhi Hariprasad Garu from Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana has sent me the G-20 logo woven with his own hands. I thank him for this. I was surprised to receive this wonderful gift. A thought came to my mind that even a person sitting in a remote area of ​​Telangana finds himself connected to the G-20 event going to be held in the country.

The Prime Minister also appealed to the youth of the country to make this event special. He said that by wearing the G-20 logo on their T-shirts, the youth can contribute to make the event of this international conference special in India. He said, in the coming days, many programs related to G-20 will be organized in different parts of the country. During this, people from different parts of the world will get a chance to visit your states. I am sure that you will bring the diverse and distinctive colors of your local culture to the world. You also have to remember that the people coming to the G-20 are also the tourists of the future.

Referring to the achievements of ISRO and its scientists and youth in the field of space science, PM said- On November 18, India achieved a milestone in the space sector when a rocket ‘Vikram S’ was launched into space. It was designed and developed by the private sector and has many innovative features. As soon as the Vikram-S rocket made a historic flight, every Indian’s head was raised with pride. It marks the dawn of an era for the private space sector in India. This is the beginning of a new era full of confidence in the country.

PM Modi said, you can imagine that the children who used to fly paper airplanes by hand, are now getting a chance to make airplanes. After the space has been opened for the private sector, the dreams of the youth are coming true and these youth making rockets are saying – Sky is not the limit. Yesterday, India launched a satellite developed by Bhutan. It will send high-resolution images that will help Bhutan. The launch of the satellite symbolizes the strong ties between India and Bhutan. India is also moving fast in the field of drones. Recently, apples were transported through drones in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh.

Prime Minister Modi told about another achievement of the country. He said, in the last eight years, the export of musical instruments from India has increased three and a half times, while the export of Electrical Musical Instruments has increased by 60 percent.

The Prime Minister said, our attachment to art, music and literature is the real identity of humanity. We Indians find music in everything. Be it the murmur of the river, the raindrops, the chirping of the birds or the resonating sound of the wind, music is present everywhere in our civilization. Music is ingrained in our culture everywhere. Music also connects our society. Our genres of music have not only enriched our culture, but have also left an indelible mark on music across the globe. The fame of Indian music has spread to every corner of the world.
