The incident is said to have happened near Padigipalli and Bommaipalli areas of Yadadari district of Telangana. The fire was so terrible that its flames could be seen far and wide. The fire broke out in sleeper coaches S4, S5, S6 of the train. The fire broke out in the Falaknuma Express when the train was coming from Howrah towards Secunderabad.
A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which flames and smoke can be clearly seen in the coaches of the train. There is a huge fire in all the three coaches. Although no information has been revealed about how this fire started. After the fire broke out in the train, there was panic among the passengers. Immediately the train was stopped and the passengers were evacuated. As of now all the passengers are safe and no one has been harmed.
The fire department is also present on the spot and is trying to douse the fire. According to eyewitnesses, three coaches of the train S4, S5, S6 caught fire. As soon as the news of the fire was received, there was a hue and cry among the passengers. An eyewitness told various TV channels that all passengers were deboarded from the train after the fire was detected.
An SCR official said, “The situation is completely under control. No one has been injured. All passengers are safe.” Senior SCR officials have reached the spot. Railways has started investigating the matter.
