Militants shot Kashmiri Pandit in government office in J&K’s Budgam, died during treatment

Budgam: Terrorists have once again targeted Kashmir Pandit in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists have shot an employee working in the Tehsil office in Chadoora, Budgam. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that terrorists entered the office and opened fire on an employee named Rahul Bhatt. He was admitted to the hospital, where he died.

The incident took place at the Tehsildar office in Chadoora in central Kashmir. The victim has been identified as Rahul Bhat, a member of the Kashmiri Pandit community.

The Kashmir Tigers (TRF), a terrorist organization related to Jaish, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

“#Terrorists fired upon one employee namely Shri Rahul Bhat from #minority community in Tehsildar office Chadoora, #Budgam. He has been shifted to hospital,” the Kashmir zone police tweeted confirming the news.

Let us inform that in Jammu and Kashmir, continuous operation of security forces against terrorists is going on. On Wednesday itself, the security forces had killed a terrorist in the forests of Salinder of Bandipora. Earlier on Tuesday, security forces had killed two terrorists in an encounter that took place in Kreeri of Dooru area of ​​Anantnag district.

About 168 terrorists are active in Jammu and Kashmir while 75 terrorists have been killed in encounters this year. According to the police, 21 of the terrorists killed were foreigners. He told that in the year 2021, 180 terrorists were killed by the security forces, out of which 18 were foreigners.

Reacting to the incident, Congress leader Ashwani Handa hit out at the government for failing to provide security to Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley.
