Bettiah: After Hyderabad minor gang rape another shameful incident happened in Bihar’s West Champaran district headquarter Bettiah, a case of gang-rape with a minor in a bus near the bus stand has come to light. Taking action in this case, the police have arrested two people. According to the police, the victim alleges that she was returning to Bettiah on Tuesday when the bus conductor mixed cold drinks with intoxicants. When the bus stopped at the Bettiah bus stand, all the bus passengers got off.
It is alleged that after taking the bus only 100-200 meters away from the bus stand, the minor was raped by the driver, Khalasi and others of the bus. It is being told that when the victim fell unconscious, the accused fled leaving her in the bus. Late in the evening, the local people informed the police about the minor’s presence in the bus.
The police immediately reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Police brought the victim to the hospital. Bettiah (Sadar) Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Mukul Parimal Pandey said that the victim has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police raided the night and took the accused driver and the helper into custody. Raids are being conducted in search of other accused. He said that the police is probing the entire matter.
