Monsoon update news: Heavy rain alert for Jammu & Kashmir, HP and U’khand for next 3 days , IMD’s ‘Cyclone Alert’

The Meteorological Department has forecast that till Diwali, it may rain in many states of the country. In Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the weather pattern may worsen in the next few days. In many parts of Himachal Pradesh, the weather is likely to remain bad for 3 days.

New Delhi: Monsoon has returned in most parts of India and there is a sound of cold. The mercury has started falling and the sun has started to bear. Snowfall has started in the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Sikkim etc. Its effect is also being seen in the plains and there is a feeling of cold in the morning and evening and at night.

However, the Meteorological Department has forecast that till Diwali, it may rain in many states of the country. In Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the weather pattern may worsen in the next few days. In many parts of Himachal Pradesh, the weather is likely to remain bad for 3 days.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in many areas of the state, snowfall on high peaks. According to IMD, the effect of Western Disturbance coming over the Himalayas is likely to be visible in the Gangetic plains from next week. Meanwhile, the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal may turn into a cyclone by the weekend. According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is likely to form over the southwest and adjoining east-central part of the Bay of Bengal within the next 48 hours.

The Odisha government has canceled the leave of employees from 23 October to 25 October. Also, the state has issued an alert for its coastal districts. At the same time, in the Arabian Sea, a new cyclonic pressure center is seen forming in the lower troposphere near Karnataka and Konkan coast. With this, a western disturbance is forming. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain in many states of the country in the next week.

The IMD has forecast rain in many parts of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till October 21.

According to the weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of Kerala. It may also rain in the hills of South Interior Karnataka, Interior Tamil Nadu. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Manipur and Mizoram.

There is also a possibility of rain in many areas of Nagaland, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and Vidarbha. On the other hand, rain may also occur over the hills of South-East Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Western Himalayas.
