Motivagers Club mark post diwali celebration with senior citizens

It’s not been long since Diwali has passed by instead the entire week is meant to give all of us Diwali vibes as the festival is followed by celebrations and post Diwali parties. Keeping the thought in mind, Motivagers Club decided to celebrate this post Diwali celebration with the members of the club with utmost enthusiasm and zeal.

The senior most member of the club Mr. H.C Khare was invited on the stage to light the diyas while the voices echoed when everyone together wished each other a very Happy Diwali and this is how the event started off with a bang. The expression of curiosity and excitement amongst the members was clearly seen when the founding members of the club as well as anchors for the event Astha Singh and Prishita Rathi indulged them into a fun-filled discussion in which each member had to share their first impression of meeting other members.

Without much ado, members started speaking in one voice and the final conclusion that came out was ‘more than they being friends to each other, it feels like this is a new family for all of them’ and this sentence was enough to sum up their first impression as well as their feelings towards Motivagers Club.

Games being the best pastime

The event further proceeded with games like ‘Paper Toss’, ‘Mini Football’ and ‘Rangoli with Matchstick’- the child-like faces of the members enlightened when the volunteers of the club Vaibhav Singh and Shikhar Yaduvanshi told them to compete with each other in the following games while the unbelievable and commendable thing turned out to be the maximum participation of the senior citizens in all the games be it men or women.

They came up to play all the games not only with the aim of winning but also encouraging their fellow competitors to do well. The energy and glowing faces of the senior citizens of the club was enough to add an interesting flavor to the event. Defeating all other members, Mrs. Anita Babbar won the mini Football match after penalty shooting round amongst others, Mr. S. K Srivastava bagged in the first position in paper toss and Mrs. Shamta Sinha stood first in Rangoli with Matchstick.

Music being the best healing therapy

The event turned out to be an immense pleasure for the members when volunteer of the club Ishita Chauhan sang songs like ‘O Paalan Haari’ and ‘Surmayi Aakhiyon Mein’. While the members of the club closed their eyes and felt the music along with hearing the soulful voice and their expressions clearly portrayed their love for music. Each one clapped their hands and tapped their feet along with the beat of the music.

Word of gratitude

Founder of the club Gaurav Chhabra conveyed a heart-warming Diwali wish to all the members expressed his gratitude to all the members for taking out time from their schedule every month. He also informed that in the upcoming month of December the club will be celebrating its anniversary calling it a cultural fest. Afterwards, the members replied that they wait for the arrival of the next event every month and some said they pray for the continuity of Motivagers Club till eternity.

On this note, the event concluded with a cake cutting ceremony for all the members who had their birthdays and anniversaries this month.
