MP: Two coaches of goods train full of LPG derailed in Jabalpur, major accident averted

Jabalpur: In Jabalpur, on Tuesday night, two wagons of a goods train carrying LPG cylinders derailed while going to empty the rack inside the gas factory. The accident happened at Shahpura Bhitoni station. A depot for stocking petrol, diesel and gas has been built at the station itself. The goods train was going to empty the rack inside the gas factory, when two coaches of the goods train derailed near the main gate of the factory. As soon as the information was received, the railway officers and employees reached the spot and started the relief work.

The CPRO of West Central Railway said that two coaches of the goods train filled with LPG derailed. The operation of the main line has not been affected by this. The movement of trains on the main line is normal. The track restoration work started in the morning in the presence of officials. Fitness certificate issued by siding owner.
