New Delhi: The MRI scan reports of India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant’s brain and spine were declared normal by doctors. Pant met with a serious car accident near Roorkee, Uttarakhand, on Friday morning. Plastic surgery also took place on his facial injuries.

India’s star wicketkeeper’s vehicle collided with the road barrier, and within a few minutes, it caught fire. Pant broke the glass window despite injury, came out of the car, and avoided a near fatal accident. At the time of the accident, Pant was driving alone while going to Roorkee.

The Indian wicketkeeper’s MRI of his ankle and knees will take place on Saturday amid pain and swelling. The medical staff at Max Hospital in Dehradun believes that there is a possibility of a right knee ligament injury and that there may be a suspected right ankle ligament injury.

As per the medical bulletin released by the hospital on Friday night, Pant is “stable, cognizant, and oriented.”

According to the BCCI statement, “Pant has suffered two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, and toe, and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back.”

Rishabh has been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where his MRI scans and other treatments are progressing. BCCI shared the statement with the media.” The Indian cricket board has been in regular touch with Pant’s family.”
