Mulayam Singh Yadav death: Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, died on Monday. He founded the Samajwadi Party on 4 October 1992. However, even before this, in 1967, Mulayam Singh Yadav had set foot in the politics of UP. Then he became MLA for the first time in 1967. Although that whole story is very interesting.

From 1970s to 2012: Mulayam Singh Yadav’s storied political career

Actually, Nathu Singh used to be an MLA from the party of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia from Jaswant Nagar seat of UP. In this seat, Mulayam Singh Yadav contested on Dr. Lohia’s lobbying. Then I got the ticket from the Praja Socialist Party of Lohia, now the money has come. Then Mulayam Singh Yadav’s friend Darshan Singh came in handy. Darshan Singh rode the cycle and Mulayam Singh sat behind. Visited village to village of Jaiwant Nagar Vidhan Sabha, slogan was given ‘One Vote, One Note’.

Defeated the Congress candidate
Mulayam Singh was contesting against a Congress candidate. Then Lakhan Singh, a disciple of Hemwanti Nandan Bahuguna, was in the electoral fray from here. At that time Mulayam Singh was a new player of politics, on the other hand the Congress used to have a tremendous mass base across the country. But when the election results came, everyone was shocked. He won by defeating the Congress candidate.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia died in November this year only after winning the election. Before his death, he had prepared the way for this political player of the Yadav family. The special thing is that he became an MLA for the first time and he also became a minister for the first time. From here he had a full time entry in politics. Now the seat of Jaswant Nagar here is considered the stronghold of the Yadav family. Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav is the present MLA from here.

After the fall of VP Singh’s government at the Center in 1990, Mulayam Singh Yadav joined Chandrashekhar’s Janata Dal (Socialist) and remained the Chief Minister. It also included the support of Congress. In 1991, the Mulayam government collapsed after the Congress withdrew support. In 1991, elections were held midway, but Mulayam Singh Yadav’s party did not form the government.

After this, in 1992, Mulayam Singh Yadav formed the Samajwadi Party. And in 1993, Mulayam returned to power once again with the support of the BSP. After this, Mulayam Singh Yadav again returned to power in 2003 and became the CM. Mulayam Singh Yadav was also the Defense Minister of the country from 1996 to 1998.
