Hospital authorities claimed, Mulayam Singh Yadav is still critically ill and receiving life-saving drugs. He is being treated in the ICU at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram by a large team of specialists.

Mulayam Singh, the founder of the Samajwadi Party, had been admitted to the hospital last week due to an increase in complications and was taken to the ICU ward again.

The 82-year-old former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh was admitted for several days, but later had to shift to the ICU after his condition deteriorated on Sunday. Some improvement was shown in his health on Monday, but the hospital said earlier today that his health condition was critical.

Yadav is being treated at Medanta Hospital by internal medicine specialist Dr Sushila Kataria for breathing problems.
