In a concerning incident, two unidentified youths on a scooty fired multiple rounds outside a house in Delhi’s Yamuna Vihar, creating panic in the area. The incident occurred late on Thursday night outside C-10/132, Yamuna Vihar. Despite the multiple rounds fired, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to the police, the incident took place at around 11:16 pm when two boys on a scooty fired several rounds outside the house. Law enforcement recovered several empty shells and a live round of 7.65 mm from the spot.
The complainant, Hasiniddin Siddique (52), who owns a clothing store in Karol Bagh, reported the incident. He stated that two boys on a scooter fired multiple rounds outside his house in Yamuna Vihar, Delhi. The police have registered a complaint, and an ongoing investigation is in progress.
This incident follows a similar occurrence in November of the previous year when rounds were fired near Delhi’s Kanhaiya Nagar metro station, resulting in injuries to a man named Mahadev. The injured individual had a criminal history, with three cases previously registered against him. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding these incidents to ensure public safety.
