Mumbai: On Thursday, the police said that a boy collapsed and died while playing in the premises of the housing society where he lived in Thane district of Maharashtra. He was 5 years old.
Giving information about this incident, the official said that the child was a KG student. He went to the play area of their residential complex in Dombivali on Tuesday, while his mother waited outside.
According to the information, After some time, the boy fell unconscious inside the play area. The official from Manpada police station said that he was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The official further said that the police sent the body for post-mortem and registered a case of accidental death. He added that cops were questioning the two caretakers who were present in the play area at the time of the incident.
