Maharashtra: On Sunday, a police said that six dogs in Ganeshpuri area of Thane district of Maharashtra, were poisoned to death. Getting information about the incident police reached on the spot.

The official said that Manisha Patil, a resident of Bhiwandi, told police that her two pet dogs started vomiting on the morning of February 21 and died soon after, following which an investigation began.

He said,”Three others from the area, Kashinath Raote, Dinesh Jadhav, and Ravindra Raote, also approached police complaining their pet dogs had died similarly. One stray dog too died on the same day.”
