In Maharashtra's Thane district, a couple killed their neighbor in an ongoing argument over slippers. However, the police have registered the case. In this case, the accused woman has been arrested but the accused husband is absconding from the spot.
Thane: A woman has been arrested by the police in Naya Nagar in Maharashtra’s Thane district, while her husband is absconding after killing a neighbour. This woman’s husband had killed his neighbor for protesting against keeping slippers near the door.
This information was given by the police officer on Sunday. Actually, there used to be a clash between the two neighbors for keeping slippers, but on Saturday the accused killed his neighbor in this clash.
There was often a clash over slippers
Inspector Jilani Syed of Naya Nagar police station said that the accused and his neighbor were fighting for a long time. The accused often used to fight with his neighbor for not keeping slippers at his door. The people around were also getting worried due to the quarrel between these two.
However, everyone was also afraid that this fight would take some scary form, but what happened was what everyone was afraid of. On last Saturday i.e. March 04, the clash between these two increased a lot. After this, in a fit of rage, the accused thrashed his neighbor very mercilessly.
Death due to multiple grievous injuries
Officer Khatri (54) i.e. the deceased was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition, but he died during treatment. Station Inspector Jilani Syed said, “Officer Khatri had suffered serious injuries in the fight and succumbed to these injuries. At present, the wife of the accused has been arrested while her husband fled from the scene. Has been charged with murder.”
At present, the police is interrogating the woman and is also looking for the accused. The police officer has said that the matter will be investigated closely.
