Mumbai: Mumbai cops found a half-burnt body with some parts of the body missing of an unidentified woman from the city’s Wadala area. Age of the woman seems around 30-35 years and her body was cut into three pieces. According to the police, the burnt body was found in a suspicious bag. A case of murder was registered against an unknown accused.
According to police, as quoted by sources, “We have recovered the half-burnt body of an unidentified woman from the Wadala area. Our patrolling team at Mumbai Port Trust had found a suspicious bag that contained a burned body. We sent the body for postmortem. Case of murder registered against an unknown accused and probe initiated”.
Police evaluates that the woman was murdered one to two days ago. Her body was in a bag. On suspicion, when the bag was checked, a burnt body was found.
The police have registered a case of murder against an unknown person and launches an investigation. Along with this the Mumbai Crime Branch team has also initiated the probe, police said.
In yet another incident, a 19-year-old boy stabbed to death by a minor in Northeast Delhi’s Welcome Police Station area on Thursday night. The accused has been apprehend by the police, according to reports. The deceased’s elder brother Sameer said that they rushed him to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. He added that the minor accused was earlier named in several criminal cases.
